Removing navigator fixed the problem for me.

Just an educated guess (I am not using that modpack myself, so don't know what the window in question looks like): "fashion" = "mod / mods", "established fashion" = "existing mods", "set the fashion" = "install new mods".

Greyed-out mods are usually disabled on purpose - because of them being broken.

Something is wrong with your connection - mod pack is just about 100 megs in size, it takes literally seconds to download.
