I somehow got it through a reward mission from a American loot box. Completed the mission easily, got my first ever real premium (my Albany is useless). So yes it does give very bad first impression : you either trade good guns for mediocre torpedoes and AA or trade it back. But choosing the second hull at least make you think smart (from my point of view) but my first battle literally made me ROFL ( I hurt my back and I got very weak in the process) So I went Rush B style in a tier 7 game, spotted a Molotov and a Emerald camping behind cap A. (the map is encounter ) so I quickly cap the cap A, shooting my two only guns like a [edited], and torped the Emerald ( also torped the Molotov but freaking kill stealer). I was just laughing so hard because I just yolo behind them at point blank range. Then I yolo a Lyon to almost 5 km (still shooting my 2 only guns like a [edited]) and torped that as well. And it was a ez game victory. This is the most yolo DD ever.

I have research the Iowa and the Montana long time ago ( but during that time they both had raised citadel and I didn't dare to move on). Is it really worth it moving beyond the NC. The NC is a really great BB probably the best but I just got really bored, like I want to move on and get a different feel. But all I heard that Iowa has great gun with great speed for a BB, but it is just a big hulking target, and a torpedo magnet. Even with lowered citadel it still gets hit by more HE than the NC. So is it really worth it to move on ? or just stay at NC and technically finish the American BB line ?

If I remember correctly, the enemy team got picked off one by one. I was forced to get my NC to go full speed right through the open water to do some damage because my teammates are doing all the work. Also, due to your profile, yes, I wish the Alaska will be in a game.

Is this because of RNG, luck, teamwork ? Notice how one team nearly has the whole team survived while the other team gets completely obliterated. Not to mention these games last almost 5 min or sometimes even less. It is almost like naval blitzkrieg.

I am still on the Benson but I am starting to move pretty fast (I am so behind on DD line but my BB and CA lines are good) How good is the Fletcher ? Is she worth it ? And any different play style from the Benson ? (Besides counter avoiding radar ) Any tips for American DD overall ?
