  1. I could control the ship and fire the guns but the camera was stuck as if it was in free camera mode in a replay, then the game just kept crashing.     Let me start by saying that this is not the Russian cruiser Pr. 65, this is a basically a Japanese Alaska-class, and I was wondering if A) someone has info on the 310mm guns because I cant find any and B) should this go in to the Japanese Fast Battleship/Battlecruiser line as the Tier 6 or as a premium Tier 7 Battlecruiser. If it were to go into the regular tree, the line would go from 8 356mm guns on the Kongo to 9 310mm on the Project B-65, which is like the Russian cruiser line, or should it become a premium because of the weird caliber of the guns?   5. Why are the American Cruisers so bad?

    In my opinion, USN CAs need A) Damage repair ability because the USN had some of the best battle damage repair protocol of any navy in WW2 B) Add Slot 3 for the NO, so we can increase its range C) RoF buff T7 and up with the Pepsi-cola getting 4.3 RPM, NO getting 4.7 RPM, and the Baltimore getting 5.5-6 RPM and D) Fix the Baltimore's and Des Moines's shell arc back to CBT levels.

    The thing is I don't want WoWS to die, WG has done alot of good with WoWS, but they have messed up the American line when they nerfed the 203mm arc and didn't give the line any thing special. And Steel Ocean gives me a headache because of the lost frames and I have a GTX 970, so that tells you how bad that game is optimized.

    A more then that, US CAs can barely take a hit ingame, when in real life they could take massive amounts of damage and still float, example: the famous picture of the USS New Orleans (CA-32) with all of the bow forward of the 2nd gone, blown off by a Japanese torpedo blowing up the magazine and gas tanks, now if that were to happen in game, that is game over, you get the detonation "achievement" and you go back to port. Do you guys think that the NO in game should get both the slot and the ability to repair the damage, or just one and if only one which one and why?

    Unfortunately, the new Tier 8 Russian cruiser is going to have better AA than the NO, so she is not even going to have that.

    Should the New Orleans get the slot that allows the guns to fire further? With that upgrade the New Orleans could fire up to 18.8 Km which some could argue is OP, but seeing that the New Orleans is the worst of the Tier 8 Cruisers, it needs a "thing" that it does better then any other non-premium cruisers (the bullsh*t of the Mikhail Kutuzov 19.1 Km range and AA excluded), which except for the AA, which is of dubious use at the moment and the new Tier 8 Russian cruiser will have the better AA, taking the "Best AA" crown away from the New Orleans. Some would argue that then all the Tier 8 ships would need the slot that increases the range of the guns, but look at the Arkansas Beta, it has all 6 slots and its Tier 4. Now, that is a special premium given to all Beta testers, but the precedent is still there. So, what do you think? Should the New Orleans get Slot 3?

    I'm talking about the actual penetrater in the shell, the Des Moines has a better penetrater the the Moskva and the design of the shell of the Des Moines is better for penetration then the shell of the Moskva. You are just going of the numbers and not considering the design of the shell.

    The problem with that is you are working with two different types of shells, one that is designed to fly as fast as possible to the target, which means that the shell is very aerodynamic, but has less penetration power, where you have a shell that is slower and less aerodynamic, but is designed to have higher penetration power. My guess is that the Moskva will have the penetration power of the Des Moines.

    http://shipcomrade.com/ships/russian scroll down to premium ships and you'll see the new cruisers in the Russian tech tree, and now lets talk about the Tier X, the Project 66 A.K.A, the Moskva. Artillery: 3x3 220mm guns- the fewest guns at Tier X for Cruisers tied with the Des Monies, but the biggest cruiser guns at any tier. 19.4 KM firing range- OH CRAP here is the longest ranged cruiser in the game! RUSSIAN BIAS!!! [edited]WG!!! Right? Not quite, but with the relevant mod you can get a firing range of 22.5 KM, that is BB range! 5800 AP shell Damage- OK this is interesting, not the highest damage at Tier X cruisers, that honor goes to the Hindenberg. 3100 HE shell Damage- Second only to the Zao 5.8 RPM RoF- In the middle of the Tier X cruisers, slightly lower then the Hindenburg. So the artillery on this ship is in the middle of the pack in every thing but the range which is first-class and it needs that range Concealment: 18 Km Surface detectability range- THAT IS HORRID!!!!!!!! That is near BB concealment ratings, but with all the relevant captain skills and mods you can get that to 13.5 KM, so not bad but not great 11.7 Km Air detectability range- That is bad too. Now assuming firing the guns will increase the range you will get spotted by is 7 Km to 20.5 Km then this ship can invisafire for 2 Km, that IMO is fine. AA rating 69- Standard for the tier Survivability: 65400 Hit Points- about 15000 more then any other cruiser 20mm to 170mm of armor- the strongest cruiser in game Maneverability: 34.5 knots Top Speed- Positively Japanese 760m turning radius- Fine 10.9s Rudder shift time- No problems And no planes, tear. Conclusion: In my opinion, this is the first battlecruiser in-game with the longest range and the biggest guns, the worst concealment, and the highest health among cruisers in-game, but what are your opinions?
  14. Comparing Battleships (Richelieu, Littorio)

    But in your original comparison, you neglected one of the Littorio's strength, its size and the length to beam ratio which tells you how well the ship will turn: Littorio 7.24 , Warspite 7.11, Richelieu 7.51 along with the Littorio being short and fat like the Warspite which is one of the best turning non-low tier BB in-game, and that the Littorio has far better torpedo protection, then either ship and the Warspite is famous for shrugging off torpedoes in-game.
