    Nope. One recon plane and one T97 torp bomber per disassembled plane. Makes farming/resetting easy actually kind of feasible. On a related note, hit a bit of a derp moment when farming E-3 easy and wondering why I wasn't getting AS on the preboss and boss nodes. Turns out escort fleet carrier doesn't participate in the opening air phase. Whups.

    You don't really need historical for E-3, just 1CA 1FBB 2CV 2CVL + 2CA 3DD 1CL for the shortest route. As long as your ships are reasonably high level debuff isn't needed, the boss is pretty much a pushover. You can also replace one escort fleet CA with a CLT and still go the same route.

    Well, that's that. Started this one really late, but event's done. Final resource report: 59104-63057-14641-38896 + 427 buckets overall. Fuel and steel costs were offset by the fact that I never had to take fleet 4 off of exped 38 Fleets, in case anyone's interested: Overall a really cheap and pretty easy event. Probably could've been even cheaper if better planned but I kind of tend to just throw resources at things. E-4 was the only one that felt like it could've been hard, but I got really lucky on my first heavy fleet run (4th last dance run overall), got there with nobody even moderately damaged, and absolutely crushed the boss. E-5 is a pretty long map because of all the debuff stuff, but LBAS + gimmick ships makes killing the boss extremely easy (doing node A is arguably harder than actually killing the boss). Even without gimmick ships it seems like it'd be pretty doable, a lot of times night battle just ended with Sakawa finishing off an already heavily damaged boss for the S-rank.

    I still like this approach to E-4H better I tried the light and "medium-heavy" comps for a few runs each and couldn't get to the boss, then decided that if E-5 was going to be Prinz/Sakawa/Nagato nuclear shells might as well just go for the classic brute force comp. First run S-ranked the boss node. So I guess that's an option too.

    I don't. Training KTKM/Ooi for quints and Souryuu for fake egusa is more productive. 15.2 are pretty cheap to get through daily development, and plus they (and the 15.2 kai) don't see much use. One pair of maxed 15.2 kai is more than enough. Rockets are pretty useless. Rare though. If you want more I guess leveling cranes is the fastest way, but I have no idea why you'd want more.

    Well, event is cleared now on hard. Gave up on farming Aquila and went ahead and cleared E-4. Event summary: E-1: 3CL2DD1CVL. Pretty straightforward. Basically free to clear (like less than 400 of each resource and two buckets), took ~600 fuel to farm I-26 E-2: 1CL1CLT4DD. Yahagi (90) @ 15.2cm kai x2, Type 0 obs Kiso Kai Ni (141) @ 152mm OTO x2, minisub Samidare (94) @ 10cm HA + AAFD x2, Type 13 Air Radar Kai Suzukaze (94) @ 10cm HA + AAFD x2, Type 13 Air Radar Kai Mutsuki Kai Ni (95) @ Daihatsu x3 Kisaragi Kai Ni (95) @ Daihatsu x2, drum Used both node and boss support. Around 6000/5000/500/1000 + 20 buckets to clear. The full supports was probably unnecessary and I could've done it cheaper, but I've got resources to burn E-3: Was trying historical STF, but by the end of it I found that CTF works better. Suzuya + Kumao + Fubuki in CTF seems to route to the northern fuel whirlpool instead of the air raid crap (When I switched Suzuya/Kumano out for Tone/Chikuma I went south, when I switched Fubuki out I went south). Landbase was 1 fighter 3 bomber sent to boss, 4 bomber sent to preboss. Node and boss support, air support on boss. 50000/40000/25000/11000 + 170 buckets to get HP bar down to final kill, decide to farm ~20 runs on easy, realize preboss is still a [edited]on easy, clear hard. After that just start choosing E, H is along the way to the boss and gets wiped out almost every time. Landbase was 1 fighter 3 bombers in all three slots, all sent to node I. No node support because it only hits I and H, with I being taken care of by Landbase and H being too easy to warrant support. Around 34000/24000/27000/14000 + 120 buckets to clear.
