    1) You really don't have any idea what a "Knight Templar" idea of morality would mean, do you? Put it this way: that particular group of thugs (most crusaders were a nasty lot, period. Don't believe me? Ask any non-christians that they ran into... Assuming they were alive enough to tell you anything) were the subject of a Papal Bull for a while that made them exempt from all laws save their own and any the Pope himself placed on them. Yeah, I'm not like that, as I recognize and try to follow local customs until such point that it becomes almost impossible to do so. 2) Mostly, I've called folks out on stuff, but I don't think I've actually demanded that anyone actually follows my personal (emphasis on "personal") code. Does this mean that I'm not allowed to voice dislike or disagreement, or explain why? No. However, since this is apparently my demanding that you follow my personal code, I'll just shut up. Most folks seem to want that anyway. 3) So you suggest I abandon the thing that keeps me from murdering, stealing, and doing other rather disagreeable acts? Are you suggesting that my want to protect those who cannot protect themselves is bad? Are you suggesting that I'm disliked for being kind and trying to help wherever I can IRL? Because that's what that just sounded like. Put it this way: if you don't have a proper moral compass, you're no longer human, and even more dangerous than a demon; at that point, you become an extremely intelligent, dangerous, and unpredictable animal, with no loyalties beyond itself. Even a fair number of criminals tend to have some form of moral compass, although many more don't. TL: DR version: my moral compass is what keeps me from being more of a jerk. Are you saying I should more unpleasant to be around? 4) EDITED: You all want me gone for not being agreeable enough, so wish granted.

    1) I'm afraid the "Modern USA" view is kinda the only one I have access to, as I do lack a time machine. To compensate for this, I will simply shut up entirely, as that is likely what you actually want of me. 2) As for making assumptions and how children are "supposed" to act, it may partly be that I was raised with a somewhat higher standard for what a child should think about, and you do make quite a few assumptions yourself... ...Like this assumption right here. I actually couldn't care less about an entire naked LGBT pride campaign, having been around more than a few of them while visiting folks in CA; it's more about what how actions in one area can be a measure of how someone might be at their core, and having some decidedly unpleasant experience with handling even moderately abused children that "only" suffered "minor" physical abuse, not full-on sexual exploitation. I can only imagine what would happen to a child that had to kill for a living and watch their friends get battered with high-explosive shells or hit with torpedoes might be like, and unfortunately my imagination is all too capable in that regard. Also, any war where children are being deployed to the front is basically one of incredible barbarity and desperation, so there's that to try and ignore as well. But I have that "Modern American" prudish attitude, and make assumptions, so don't take this as meaning anything. It's not like I have any idea about how disgusting humans can be, what lengths we have and can sink to, and what stressful events (like, say, a war and getting shot at, which I have the fortune of only being able to make assumptions about, or "minor" physical abuse for that matter) might make a child's priorities rather different from what you'd normally expect. And I cannot make assumptions using knowledge in other areas to compensate for lack of direct knowledge, so I should shut up. Understood. Xero, wasn't there a big old "waifu war" just a wee bit ago, and whatever was the trigger for it? When I don't get to speak with folks personally, I get to make a measure of them from what I see online, and the measure I got was not exactly something I would consider something to be proud of. Maybe the intent was supposed to be different, but the results are all I can measure, and frankly all I really think are important. Also, this *was* supposed to be my new "calming hobby", but I guess I'm too thin-skinned and stupid to make it remotely workable, just like how I can't seem to make anything work. And "overthinking things" is the only way that I've ever been able to tell when a "friend" actually was not, and when my advocacy for them in the fleet was damaging my public standing, and badly. Or when the relationship I was in involved my taking my SO on dates... And then she gets picked up after by someone else. Yup, totally just overthinking things... ... [edited] it all, why do I even bother? EDIT: RE morality... If I don't have a moral compass, I don't have anything. Most folks have at least something for them, but as Dai says, I have "no redeeming attributes aside from not being completely insufferable". Judging by most of what I see, that's a pretty common viewpoint. Furthermore, if the folks I'm around don't have reliable and predictable morality, who, if anyone, can I trust? With Dai at least, I can (somewhat) predict what she'll do.

I did actually put a fair bit of thought in, but I didn't realize the limitations would be nearly as strict as they turned out to be. That, and it came highly recommended by a bunch of fleetmates. Also, thank you for your honesty. I do try not to be an @$$, but I guess that I'm incapable of being anything else, no matter how much I try to work on it, to be tolerant, to simply shut up, etc. If you could send me a a list of complaints, that would be great, as I can't get anywhere by not knowing what to try fixing. It may not seem to be, but I do *try* not to cause trouble. Would you marry someone who looks and acts like a 13 year old? I know Dai has some different standards, so I'm asking if you do too. And while it may be alright to marry a 15/16-year old person outside of the US, I grew up in the US, and have a pretty firm stand that it's not OK. Then there's the whole harem thing, and you all know how I am about being loyal to the person you care about. Finally there's the NTR fantasies, and having dealt with that once IRL, one *might* say that I feel a *bit* strongly about it. Those NTR publications become much less pleasant to deal with when you've had to actually feel the sting, assuming that you ever liked them in the first place. Put it this way: normally I'm a person who feels very strongly about punishing murderers, but I would have 50/50 chance to hand down a "not guilty" verdict if I were a judge on a hearing where a woman murdered her husband and his mistress in bed. Honestly, I'm thinking that I really don't belong here, as I'm too damn different, and groups tend to not like different people with different ideas who question group norms. I would appreciate honesty here, as "feel-good" does not help me in the slightest; I've had to deal with back-stabbing from "friends" in the past, and I really don't need it now.

And as soon as I finished grouching at Kirishima, Kongou, and Hiei about not bothering me when it came to the matter of the miraculous, amazingly annoying, disappearing, and decidedly LESS than daijoubu vanishing Haruna, Ryuujou-chan and Zuihou-chan brought her in. Turns out she had accidentally made a bento for herself out of Hiei's leftover RSC experimentation, and left herself comatose for... Damn, how long have we been her one this worthless coast, anyway?! Regardless, the coma seems to have had a less-that-positive effect on her brain, and she will have to learn how to fight all over again, as if she were lvl all over. In light of this, Hiei is henceforth permanently banished from any food preparation, and will instead work on enhanced Abyssal elimination equipments with the few Unit [censored] fairies that survived the Anomaly. And the sisters in their shared dorm, doing their best to get their thoroughly behind sister up to speed. Hopefully Haruna will be alright after a bit of time... I only have a few berths left open, no way (or even want, for that matter due to the raw cost associated with) to buy berths, only 18K Baux, about 400 buckets, I've had the unpleasant realization that quests have their own routing that they can trigger, diverting even a fleet specifically designed to hit a boss to something as worthless as a damn blowtorch node. Then there's the time expenditure to consider, my upcoming move, and decided lack of actual fun I'm getting from KC. And the damnable marriage mechanics feel ethically wrong. And the community, if I may speak frankly, has not been fun to be around. At this point I'm about ready to just dump the whole damn thing.

Why not both? Love with our significant other(s), and war alongside them against the Abyssal foe. Abyssals don't tend to kill themselves, you know! My, my, an interesting choice of words there... Teitoku Daigensui, are you suggesting what I *think* you are suggesting about Fubuki-chan, or have your recent assaults against the dignities of an already -married Houshou and the ever-present sounds of Sendai-chan's constant yasen left my mind terribly sullied again? ... Speaking of that girl, how does she manage to avoid needing to take construction leave anyway?! It's not like she ever pays attention in the safe yasen classes; in fact, she usually sleeps through them, even if bombarded with chalk! Tch... Well, at least the cosplayers have the positive benefit of raising conscription recruitment quotas and selling war bonds. Ah, Inazuma-chan... She gets a most terrible mood when Kai-Ni graduations are mentioned... Even Hibiki-chan is careful around her then. And honestly, I think we would like to see a Kai-Ni graduation for her, as she has so much un-tapped energy to bring to the fight. In recent news, Maya and Mutsu both graduated to their Kai-level rigging... But they got the experience to do so by jumping a Hagikaze returning home on her own, with a pair of drum canisters loaded down with groceries for herself and her special someone judging by the contents I had to send back. As of now, I do not know whether to congratulate them on their upgrade, praise them for their ingenuity and for teaching a destroyer not to go home un-escorted, or whether to discipline them for their unacceptable cruelty. While it is good that they gained the experience and reminded the Hagikaze drop of how essential an escort is, I cannot approve of battleships and armored cruisers ambushing destroyers, especially when they're off duty!...Perhaps I should do all three? After all, it's been a while since I had anyone other than the fairies clean the 'Loo, and they are sometimes lazy about it. I'll have to do something about those two, as I doubt any letter of apology could possibly be humiliating enough, but they DID get their Kai-grade riggings...

Said every NTR Teitoku, many of whom met their just deserts at the hands of an angered sister Kanmusu later on. Just because it isn't a story oft told does not mean it is uncommon. In fact, we currently have an APB out for a pair of longshoremen fond of such acts, but those APBs tend to go cold I'm afraid... *Sighs, throws hands up in the air out of disgust, sails away at full WEP, and signals the "all clear" for a very peeved-looking carrier groupt to begin their barrage, of such intensity that the sky darkens as bombs and shells of their escorts blot away any view of the heavens. Very, very peeved group, indeed...* Just give O&K a bit of time and a closed room... They'll settle down soon enough. Well, not entirely, but enough that they don't manage to embarrass Sendai with their constant yasen. Just mind that you give them equipment to safely yasen with male cadets as well, as those two are rather famously "bikings": they will eventually raid your cadet bunks. A BBV is a very good idea, as it allows you a second attack stage; just remember to fill all slots with Zuiun for maximum ASW capability. If you have a Saiun, put it on your CVL, if not, craft a Saiun ASAP. Those things are incredibly useful. Overall, you're looking at 1 BBV with 4x Zuiun, 1CVL with a Saiun if you have it, and 2 DDs with two SONARs and a DCL each, or one SONAR and two DCLs if you don't have enough SONAR units. She's probably so submissive because she has never been allowed to say "no". The Shigure drop in my fleet happens to be quite the head of house, and is more than capable of telling off a battleship, or having her dearest sleep on the couch when he misbehaves!

*sigh* You're both making the mistake that there's only one Houshou, which is a bit silly nanodesu. Morokei obviously has a Houshou he's very familiar with, Daigensui is dragging off a Houshou herself, and I have a Houshou in my fleet who is decidedly not involved in the previously mentioned shenanigans, as she's out of construction leave nanodesu; another destroyer, if I remember correctly nanodesu. And admit it, we Kanmusu tend to be a bit like rabbits anyhow, and there's no knowing who you're actually with, now is there nanodesu? Besides, does it really matter nanodesu? We mostly say words we think you'll like, so that you don't bother us so muu----UUUUUWAAAAAHHHH!!!!!..... ... So sorry, Inazuma decided to have a go at the computer while I was away! I do try to tell her that the computer is not a plaything, but she always gives me this look! I trust she didn't say anything mean? She normally quite sweet, but she just has her moments! Oh, don't worry. That Hyuuga-type upgrades to a BBV by level 10, and she's powerful enough to filch MVPs regularly from Fuso and Yamashiro. If Fuso is sulking, just direct her to take a sparkle break. As for 2-4, a breakthrough was achieved with two CVLs (Zuihou-chan Kai, Ryuujou-chan Kai, and/or Chiyoda-san Kai, Carrier Form, cannot remember exactly who... Wasn't Chiyoda out on construction leave...? Oh well), one CV (Akagi), two BBVs (Yamashiro-san and Hyuuga-san), and one FBB (Kirishima). The raw air power yielded enough of an alpha strike that most Abyssal resistance was rapidly nullified, and Ryuujou-chan's Saiun (possibly literally) lead us to victory.

Eh... Seems less "moe" and more "creepy" in Ro-chan's case, but again, personal opinion. Yesterday Shigure-chan and Goya-chan both managed to graduate with substantial remodeling of their respective riggings. Shigure has gone from a terrified, low-level destroyer who accidentally constructed a pair of Hyuuga-types to a strong, loyal, and dependable young lady. Seems happy enough with the cadet she got together with, and the remaining Hyuuga-type seems to be doing quite well under her care. That said, she does have her "hound moments"; fortunately, it mostly seems to involve wiggling hairflaps and bringing me newspapers. Hopefully not all her sisters are like that, as I'm getting tired of having to toss a newspaper every time Yuudachi-chan is digging up the garden, or doing other naughty things... Seems Shigure-chan is the only one who can keep a proverbial leash on her. Meanwhile, Goya-chan has learned how to carry airplanes; however, due to limited bauxite resources, she'll likely be limited to torpedoes for the time being. Unfortunately, it would seem this rigging remodel also makes her slower to heal... Only time will tell for whether this is indeed a strength or a hidden weakness. Iku-chan and Imuya-chan are also well on their way to a remodel, and all the subs seem to be getting along quite well too, which is good considering that they must run constant missions.

I know that, but Hibiki/Verniy doesn't have nearly the attitude shift that Yuu-chan/Ro-chan has from what I've seen. It just feels weird, and most other Kanmusu have attitudes that mostly seem to "click". An odd thing to be grumbling about, but... Eh. Again, not a huge thing, but still doesn't feel right.

Not really. You see, Nyquil is not actually required to make it go away, as that is the job of your immune system. It only can help speed up the process, and only in certain patients; I for one, actually stay sick longer if I take the stuff, oddly enough. Now, normally I'd be rather peeved at this point, but you've done an excellent job of making a lot of people giggle, and myself $200 richer, so I'm simply going to drop this for now. Well... First I, and several love to hear your grand plan for how to treat all of the violence in society. After all, I am but a neurologically r3tard3d person with cerebral palsy, and absolutely no ability to comprehend basic logic or medical practice. So go ahead and enlighten me with this wonderful and final solution to all the violence-related woes of society. Yes, it does indeed. It burnses... I wish that Yuu-chan didn't need to have a lobotomy and hypnosis therapy to become Ro-chan, but that isn't too much of a worry for me as I'll never have Yuu-chan in the first place. ... Perhaps the sun roasted her brain? That could also help explain the attitude change.

... If someone has a vitamin deficiency that puts them at risk of a broken bone, we don't simply cover them in bubble wrap, but instead fix the deficiency as best we can. If said patient already has a broken bone, just giving them painkillers won't be enough, and the bone needs to be set. This is the kind of thing I was referring to. Yes, there are examples where you can't treat the core cause, and instead have to treat the symptoms, or only have preventative measures to work with, but those were not what I was referring to in this case. You'll have to excuse me for making the mistake of typing at 2:00 AM, as I hadn't treated my daily loss of sleep yet, and for being focused on my chosen field, which tends to focus on acute and chronic injury of muscles, joints, and the overall skeletal system. Also, while Nyquil will help you get rest, and thus help your body recover from a a cold faster, it doesn't treat the cold directly; all it does is reduce the symptoms that make it so difficult to get rest in the first place, which are generated by your body in response to the virus, where the virus is the actual core cause. Thus, the actual treatment is the rest itself, similar to how a painkiller will allow a dentist to operate on a cavity (although that is one of the cases where you can't hit the core cause exactly, as the core cause is technically the oral bacteria that damaged the tooth, not the cavity itself). Same goes for headaches and Tylenol (unless you're using it as a pain relief in the case of a sprain, in which case it should not be the sole treatment, as the reduction in pain may cause you to further injure the sprain), where the Tylenol will help you focus on resting the injury and reducing the inflammation (I vastly prefer ibuprofen over acetaminophen-based meds for this, as the ibuprofen also helps reduce inflammation).

That's a nice sentiment, but what would they do, make murder and cop-killing more illegal? And would you rather that the @$$hole responsible had used a garden-variety hunting rifle in something like .30-06, which would've likely resulted in more deaths by negating light cover and causing worse wounds? Or perhaps a bomb, which could've injured hundreds? And please don't forget that this guy was apparently ex-military too. Point is that you shouldn't focus on the tools used or other symptoms, but on the bad actor and other core causes; it is how any wound or disease is properly treated. Focusing on the tool is easy and makes you feel nice, but it really doesn't produce a useful result in the long term. Well, how many Admirals are there? And each one needs at least one active at any time, and then there's the union requirements to consider (compass spinning is hard work!), and there's the possibility that the compass fairies might occasionally sleep in (as do all fairies), and then there's things like festivals... So, let's say about anywhere from fifty to 10K per Admiral with a bias toward the high end to account for equal-opportunity recruitment quotas and "P" For Plenty? Watched the first Ep, looks like it'll be "meh". Then again,YMMV, so who knows? On the other hand, 91 Days looks like it'll be interesting, save for some protagonists who showed restraint when they really shouldn't have.

Not just Bethesda's hands, but the modder's hands as well. And the latter is FAR more important, as mods are a key aspect of any recent ES/FO game. IIRC, FONV, FO3, and Skyrim had MASSIVE mod support only about one or two months after launch, while FO4 has barely any by comparison, in part due to Bethesda's "console mods" experiment, in part due to the voiced mains, and partly due to the disgustingly bad dialog system in general; seriously, dialog in Skyrim was FINE, thank you very much... Seriously, Skyrim and FONV had "new lands" type mods only about three months after release, while even now there are only 16 "new lands" type files, and folks are still working on getting Fo4 properly optimized for PC because Bethesda f**ked up so badly. With all honesty, I'll be treating the next Bethesda games like a third rail after such travesty. Biscuit apparently thinks that she goes so well with Pudding that she put Pudding in a pudding so that she could have Pudding with her pudding. Oh dearie me, what next...?

Probably in part because Bethesda realized they done goofed where Fo4 is concerned. Goofed, REALLY badly. *Is STILL fuming over the absurd decision to waste time on voiced mains, when Skyrim's dialog was fine... Among many, many other and utterly unforgivable mistakes...* After so much fighting, we were bound to see some scars showing up... Such has been the case with Hibiki-chan. She's been using a lot of Russian words by accident lately, and accidentally writing her name as Verniy... Poor girl even taught Akatsuki-chan some Russian dance moves, to try and get her mind off what the Reds did to her. At least she's safe now, even if it's a relative term... Why, Iowa... Why do you do those terrible things...?! Was she never taught proper manners?!
