One thing I would very much like to see is: war gaming bringing re-enactments of real navy battles as we have most the ships that participated in these battles E.G. Battle of the Denmark Strait or the Battle of Okinawa. Here is to dreams are free
  2. once again wg handicapping players from the best part of the game who suffered the ID10T error and thought this was a good idea?

    Fellow captains: game play concept

ArIskandir thanks for the welcome, first time at this type of thing, had to start somewhere, figured a time limit for the player would focus them on mission completion rather than just hanging in map, maybe capping the missions? but as you said: the general idea is having more freedom and a more immersive experience. o7 Arlskandir.

    Fellow captains: game play concept

Hey, Navalpride: Thanks for the in-put. Scale it down? Why? maps are already 24-42km, we cover half those maps in 3-4 minutes at present: maps could possibly need to be bigger? game within the game? new map, still wows &: if you don’t ask... click out.. ArIskandir gave some good ideas' on this point, if players leave the map that's that session time over for them. (exuberant salvage fee's, insurance excess, dry-dock with a repair/rebuild penalty) heaps of possibilities. a lot of work for the polished end product... Yes definitely &: 11 years on we are still playing on single session square maps. How is this concept going to fit with WG's structure in place? WG: I would think wargaming already have all the tools at their disposal, all the assets are already in-game, (in a nutshell) creating a persistent map, overlay the game we already have. And yes a lot of work for and all the departments but its not impossible: also I think they can afford it.

IF Transparency is truly your goal here WG (Victor Bardovsky &: Andrey Lisak) then as I mentioned in my pm to players support which was replied and quickly fixed by WG, I must point out that WG owes every one 1500 doubloons for any player that brought the Missouri loot boxes, The first roll for the loot boxes starts as 0, when in fact it is not possible to begin the 1st roll at 0 it must be 1!. By listing the first roll as 0 (zero) you actually have 42 rolls in total but you label it as such 0/41, this is trickery and deceitful please see to it that every player is credited their 1500 doubloons.
  10. Hello captains I just wanted to share this with the WOWS players that at some time have tried to use a joystick for controlling the ships movement in game: today I found WOJ emulator, downloaded it sussed out how to bind the keys very easy and works like a treat. I had been trying to find something that works for ages: after finding this all is good I now use my left hand joystick for speed control, steering of the ship and: selecting HE, AP, Torps: R,T,Y,U functions and firing main weapons + shift key for zoom and: my mouse in right hand as per normal: for targeting &: free look. If your interested I hope you have some fun with it. If you where wondering why: I suffer from RSI in my left arm so having my left arm on the keyboard triggers the RSI, it actually feels more natural now and with out the pain from my arm on the keyboard while playing. Download for WOJ (World of joysticks is found here) https://download.cnet.com/World-of-Joysticks-Keyboard-and-Mouse-Emulator/3001-2121_4-76346441.html Instructions for key-binding are inside the zip folder in pdf format.
