  3. warships release date

there is LITERALLY a topic in recent discussion called "Release date will be made clearer for dummies".... HOW DO YOU NOT SEE THIS
  4. Airship Based off the BB-35

i love the steampunk style airships, makes me think of these
  5. WOWS SET TO ENTER ALPHA Q3 2013

i would rather wait a whole year more and get a better game, then them rushing it out

And yeah, I personally don't hate it, because it really could be better. It is one thing to have a bad base game, another to have a good base game and turn it into a shameful fuster cluck. i never played WoWS, (never into the plane type games) so how did they screw it up.
  7. Which WoWS Layout would work better?

now thats really cool. I would love if they had a dockyard style layout, but instead of swapping ships, your dockyard gets bigger (to a certain point) and you could have nation specific sections.
  8. Realism vs. Fun

MaximilianvonSpee, on 22 January 2013 - 10:30 PM, said: While that might be applicable to a few scenarios (like Guadalcanal), the vast majority of gun vs. gun battles (and air vs. air, for that matter) occurred at portentious ranges following the advent of the dreadnought battleship. We should not be steering around the tip of, say, an island, and suddely fighting with 2-3 other ships at 500 yards. Far too many warship games over the years have fallen prey to this ridiculous concept. ughh... Battlestations games..

  11. Rasing the Graf Spee

MaximilianvonSpee, on 11 January 2013 - 09:35 PM, said: believe that the entire idea of German culpability for the forst world war to be utter hogwash. And, regardless, it is quite possible that, had the Germans won a quick victory in the summer of 1914 [and they were the only state capable of winning such a victory] that the world today might be a much different and potentially better place). I just hope USS Olympia doesn't suffer the same fate. There was some talk recently of turning the ship into an artifical reef, which is about as ridiculous a move as they come. I haven't heard any news on the matter either way since 2011. i have to agree with that http://static1.fjcdn...22c4e6ca944.jpg
  12. Russian Tier 1 BB

International_Barfighter, on 04 January 2013 - 03:10 PM, said: I don't think we can complain about that too much. Variety gets scarce without the paper designs. Think how crappy WoT would be without paper tanks. the thing is, i find that WoT has become an arcade game full of impossible paper tanks, while they leave the few real ones left to put in the game out. Its become a race to get the newest op paper tank, run around in it, then leave it when the nerf bat comes down. I kinda stopped playing, the game just isnt what it used too be... well im waiting for this one.
  13. Russian Tier 1 BB

i feel that with Russia we will hear "paper" alot... oh and Germany in the latter tree
  14. Release date

closed alpha sometime this year, full release most likely in 2014
