    I, for one, can't find a notable difference between never playing the game again, or sinking my entire fleet. In both cases, the ships will never sail again.

    Requiring equipment to do damage that you can't earn unless you had equipment that lets you do damage last time, is pretty terrible. I stopped playing a while back, because even with all that gear, it was still entirely up to RNG if you'd get a reasonable clear time or not, and I just don't have time to play some random flash game for 27 hours a day.

    There's just not enough contrast IMO. It also feels weird having the thread stretch out to fit my screen resolution, vs the old fixed size.

    I'm pretty sure that reasoning is because Maya's special AACI has a higher shootdown rate than Akizuki class, not the fleet positioning.

    Because it earns your fleet a bunch of XP based on the level of the first two ships in their fleet, even if you lose.

    You only really need one seaplane unless more LoS is required for routing purposes, so you generally go with some kind of radar in the last slot (unless you need Type 3s for installations). Another plane doesn't hurt any though.

    I personally don't mind RP, as long as it isn't excessive. Katori's posts previously were fine, but those few recent ones that triggered the discussion... So much useless padding: Confirm log?Y[_] N[X] (In other words, I prefer RP style stories over weird formatting.)

    Having land based bombers as equipment does support my internal thought that we might be getting our first installation type unit (though if so I'd assume we won't be able to sortie them just anywhere).

    Fuel/ammo don't work that way anyway, usage per battle is a percentage, the only fixed drains are from certain whirlpools. The closest you could get is to have Zara have high max fuel/consumption.

    Twin 51cm + AP armed Yamato technically has more NB power than a DA setup Kiso, though we haven't had any final maps with fleet setups that allow slow battleships to night battle them for quite a while.

    You could say all destroyers with low luck stat only use one slot for their AACI too, since they're always set up for double attacks, and the 10CM+FD is the best DD gun anyway (so all you add is an air radar). Though Satsuki could do decent ASW and get a minor AACI, which is unique I guess.
