meh the UC ship designs from the Ms Gundam series look way better IMO. more practical designs too with space and weapons layouts. The newer gundam origin series even shows the insides of the federal forces ships and they look like a cross between WW2 and modern ships with the way they fire weapons and target/detect enemies.

Zeon ship's in particular have some pretty interesting concepts.
