What's the best strategy?

Do the easiest tasks that you can manage. I got the Bismarck camos yesterday after completing 17 tasks.

Yeah this isn't an especially grindy campaign, just do the tasks, get the crates and you should have the camos before you know it.

The absolute easiest way is to buy the largest container selection they have. Someone did that yesterday.

Renegade has probably the most cost effective strategy, because if you play the game w/ any frequency - the Bismarck Campaign is pretty easy (link shows a method and why the badge collection for the paint is a no-brainer) if you just intelligently structure your tasks w/ normal gameplay within the time window.  You'll get the paint, no problem, along w/ either the Bismarck (if you don't already have it) or 11 million Silver (if you do) plus (likely) 500K extra silver from the duplicate badges if you do it right.

If you really just want to get the paint immediately, you can always buy the Collectable Container packages WG is offering, but be aware, this is VERY cost inefficient compared to the previous option.

The analysis in the link shows how many you may need to get 24 badges, but as a quick comparison, I'm 6 stars into Mission 3 and have 18 of the 24 badges (w/ 12 duplicates) just by structuring the tasks for this campaign while I grind to my Tier Xs (i.e. playing in line w/ my general goals) - so you don't need to invest a lot of cash just to get the paint.  Play the game normally, 20 days is a lot of time & even before you finish the campaign, you should have managed to collect the 24 badges from the Collectible Containers for the Cammo.
