What will those badges give me?

Flags at least I can use them in game, camo same kind of idea. I bought some of those Santa crates around xmas, didn't get anything really to write home about.

Collect all the badges, and you get two permanent camos for the Bismarck.

Well said Ace. Look I am a potato of a player and am not having that much trouble with the missions. Just a few hours finished the first part of the mission and I kinda suck. The whole campaign last three weeks and I have no doubt I will be able to finish it, now whether I want to or not is probably the better question as it seems just "meh" IMHO. The missions are far easier than the "Honor" campaign. Do not care about the Hood and one day may go back and grind up to Bismarck but it really isn't a priority, heck it isn't even a goal.

If you don't have the Bismarck unlocked, completing the campaign should do it without need to grind up to it.  My brother during the Graf Spee missions got the Fuso and Leander unlocked while he was still grinding up to them.

You don't have to pay anything for the camos. Just do the "Hunt for Bismarck" campaign. You can collect badges from that, and get the camos that way instead.

I don't have Bismarck and dying to skip the horrible Bayern grind. BTW the Bayvern came from the Graf Spee missions. I got the Fuso also but have since moved on to Nagato. Bayvern is harder to play than USN and IJN BBs.

Agreed, not sure what ship that guy was playing. Or actually, that's the problem. He didn't. Skipped the ships through the event.

Pay-to-Not-Play ?

So now we can even pay to bypass community events?

Or is this for guys who are bad at basic math and would rather spend more money for "free" camo instead of just buying the permanent camo?

Egh, either way, thanks Zoup and thanks WG for a little diversion with some goodies at the end.

If you don't have the time to play WoWs, then WG gives you an option to buy yourself the medals and camo.

I mean, at least you get the option to buy yourself the reward, unlike what happened in the Graf Spee campaign with Tirp camo.

Totally worth the $$ to me.  I can't stand pvp, and this event has turned it on it's head (as they always do, when they coincide with the release of a much waited-for premium ship).   Worth it to me not to have to play a bunch of random games.  I had the dough- and was going to spend it on Hood, but decided $100 smackers was too much for a ship that's pretty average.  (I have yet to meet an RN ship in this game that I really liked, anyway.  Caledon was it- until Friant came out, lol)

I don't care about winning the Bismarck- I just wanted the cool flags, camos, and permanent camos for when I grind into Bizzy.   And I still get to play like I normally do.

I care about flags.

Example.

777% Free EXP + All other Free Xp flags = Average 4-5k free exp a game for myself, with 100 of these flags, suddenly I have 400-500k free exp and another T10 Ship.

The $3 Santa crates gave 25 dragon flags a pop, these crates give at most 14 and have a chance of giving only 7 and the really undrewhelming compared to any of the flags 'hunter' camo as well as giving one emblem when the normal crates give twice that and emblems are only worth  6 and 2/3rds of a doubloon converted to silver.

If Hood crates had three flag/camo drops or even a Santa crate chance of dropping a 'supercontainer' of special flags / camos, then they'd be worth the $1.80-$3 per, as it is though Ultimate Hood gives 1/3rd the amount of special flags the crates can give outright, the ability to earn 7 Hood crates ($12.60 worth wrt the best deal), a 12 point UK captain that represents a lot of dragon flags in elite captain XP and all the things these crates cannot give, like the Hood, doubloons and premium time.
