Annnnnd its done.

Roughly 130-140 pieces so it may not have been the greatest idea in the world to do as my first project but it wasn't terribly hard other than forming round parts and twisting tabs in tight spaces.

Its a pain to build but it looks so pretty.

Good job dude, shes gorgeous.  I respect you for completing it so soon, I started a USS Arizona over a month ago and just haven't gotten around to finishing her.

And so begins the addiction!

Those aircraft are still gorgeous, you should show us around a bit.

I don't have the patience and time to do this, let alone regular model kits.

Nice job there. Are you going to paint this or leave it as it is?

I could and have all the tools but painting small things is not what I consider fun or have time to do.

Plus it'd be even harder to do since its not easy to get paint to stick to smooth stainless while it'll likely flow into the engraved areas and I have no desire to do something like that.

I'mma just blame this community for getting me into this.

And as you get older, it will happen more and more.

Not a fan of painting small fiddly bits either. Main reason why I'm reluctant to build an open-top Tank Destroyer or SPG kit

Well that was relatively easy.

Total amount of pieces used was 60, just double checked the Bismarck kit and it had 207 pieces, not 140.

This was simple compared to Bismarck.

Its so tiny.

I hereby name it Chibizona.

Still not entirely satisfied with the bow and stern shape but its acceptable.

I might have forgotten to install the pedestal legs before I installed the keel.

whoops

Are there bigger sheet metal kits like these? I might plant to get a few and display them at my desk at work. I've searched online and so far I can see small ones.

You mean the Bismarck sized ones?

There is one other I am aware of.

Also made by Piececool and launched in March.

The Big E

CVN-65

11 inches long and 130 pieces.

There may be more bigger ones but I'm new at this and not really aware of any others at the moment.
