So the response is basically a total non response to what the topic is about ? So we are getting the screw job same as is being perpetrated against EU players. Thanks for no clarification. I think my wallet may need to be used elsewhere.

OK. . . you've decided how you're going to act. . .so quit complaining.  Come back here and show us a pic of what you bought instead.

What is your source for this?  I've seen no official announcements from WG about when and how the Hood is to be released, and how much it will cost.

The other servers have already posted it.

So your solution is to target me and defend Wargaming treating its customers like fools again. Got it. I am usually a supporter when they do right but I will point out what is done wrong. And I have as much right to complain as anyone. Thanks.

Didn't they stagger sale the original Prinz Eugen bundles too?

They did, and thats exactly why I didn't her the first go around. The only reason I own her now, is because A: they resold her again recently, and B: someone was actually extremely nice enough to gift her to me.

As for the Hood now... I WAS planning on getting her....now....I ain't so sure....if they go through with this, I'm gonna be mighty pissed...

Just because you CAN whine like a petulant child, doesn't mean you should.

WG doesn't owe you anything.  Buy it/don't buy it.  Just be an adult about the decision no a ridiculous snowflake wanting a safe space.

You know what acting like a jerk towards me doesn't do anything but cause problems. I have stated before I don't feel entitled to anything. What I am doing is expressing my OPINION on a matter. I don't recall saying they owed me anything or I was entitled to anything. Nice try though. And I'm not a liberal college age idiot who needs a safe space I am a discerning costumer who spends my money when I feel its worth it. When a company shows they don't listen to customers they don't get my money. Plain and simple.  Maybe grow a brain.

The issue for me isn't so much the campaign. I really don't care all that much about it and as many have mentioned, having the Hood helps but is not required. What really ticks me off is that for once I decided I was going to actually buy a prem ship, my first since I bought the Tirpitz when she first came out. I figured it would be bundled, I'm OK with that in this instance in the sense that I expected it. What I'm irritated about is that evidently only ONE package (the most stuipidly expensive possible) is being offered (at least initially). So now what I was figuring to be a base cost of a 45$ ship plus probably another 20$ worth of stuff is now possibly going to be a 45$ ship plus like.. what? another 50$ worth of stuff? Sorry WG, no deal.

I'll wait if I have to and buy the base ship if it comes down to that, but they could've gotten another 20 bucks out of me if they'd been a bit more sane in their release strategy.

I'm hoping this will be another case of the EU getting the short end of the stick here (sorry EU, no offense meant) and that they do it differently for the NA servers.

The point is - it doesn't matter that technically he Hood isn't needed and that we can complete it otherwise. That, is not the issue, but it does make it easier.

The issue is them, again, using this staggered release nonsense, which, regardless to what some, and maybe WG think, comes across as basically "any one with money can come get Hood and learn her early and all and all the players that can't drop say 100+ on a digital ship on a whim can go sit and spin for a couple weeks". It's a fairness and perception thing. They come across as catering to only those who have money, those of us with little or no funds, well, now we have to wait, and maybe that time means we no longer have access to that money. Others are using and learning we have to start 2 weeks later when everyone has learned her weaknesses and turns her to Swiss cheese. Which minor as it is, does give those with money an edge with it.

I may not be one of the ones crazy up in arms over this, but I get where they are coming from. And having a background in business as it is, let alone that tried this before and it blew up in their face, because while the outrage was lessened over Graf because there was a free option I remember the rage and apology over Prinz (and how funny if I recall history correctly it is 2 ships tied to the Bismarck's operations in the Atlantic that are given this and unleash this fury). It is, to be blunt, a stupid business move because it can negatively impact sales, because people are ticked off, and generate ill will and damage public image, in a day and age where social media is more powerful than any ads on TV or online. Potential PR nightmare. And it's not the first. Humble bundle debacle, Prinz, Graf, this, To some that raises questions, to others, anger levels, and others don't care. But end of the day, just a bad move.

To many of you are overly eager to discredit OP. He has a valid gripe and I too am disappointed that WG has chosen to try these shenanigans again. Even if there were no campaigns, even if there were no perma camos to unlock, to stagger the sale of a ship as desired and as long awaited, is dirty. You guys can make excuses all day and say its ok or you can respectfully voice your opinions against it and hopefully stop this from becoming the new norm for premium sales.
