I don't get why a losing Indy (NO PREMIUM membership, doling 66k damage earning 178,421 credits) earns more than a winning Zuihu (PREMIUM membership, doling 72k damage, $173,504 credits

HOW ARE CREDITS EARNED?

Damage caused? Surely

Capping? Surely, but 1000 credits doesn't seem to be worth, say, landing 1 torp!

Surviving?

Distance traveled?

Time alive in game?

Achievements (or are they on their own scale)?

Because the Indy is a premium ship and carrier economy isn't the best.

Indianapolis is a premium ship. Premium ships earn more credits. Indianapolis is also a tier 7, which earn more credits than the tier 5 Zuiho. Additionally, winning and losing has no bearing on credits earned, just XP.

Really! OK, thanks. Anything on what specifically earns credits? With 2 minutes left and leading 800 points to 300, should I cap or try to kill the last opponent?

Who posted this twice? Do you refer to my other thread on an unrelated subject where I mention I would post this different topic as a different thread?

Damage.

But:

- There's a small bonus for doing damage to higher tier targets

- There is a small bonus for killing a target.

- It's based in part also on % of target HP taken - 20k from a 30k hp T7 cruiser will get you more than 20k from a 60k hp T7 battleship.

(Above stats not guaranteed accurate. I'm a supertester and test ships don't always register correctly)

So, given 2 T7 targets, I earn more by hitting the lesser target (assuming each salvo does the same damage)? But I earn more by hitting a T7 than a T6?

A lesson in proper forum posting and spelling lesson is much needed for this original poster.

This assumes you perform as well in the loss as in the win which is often not the case.
