This was a half baked idea and turned out to be the most BORING April Fools event as compared to the year before. :red_button:

WG needs a do over

You do realize at this point, it was the least expensive for them. Aside from chaffing quite a few folks in the wrong places and wrong way, nobody can say they did nothing for April Fool's day.

Although I agree with your statement - sometimes not even doing anything would have been a plus in regards to whats been happening in the recent events of confusion/bugs and false expectation. Most say that even using last years bathtub games would have been better compared to what we had. Well luckily its over now but in the end...WOW ended wasting a lot of time all for nothing. That is not a good thing to promote their company.

After bathtub scrubies last year and the huge success of the Halloween event this is just lame so lame that it reminds me of something my employers would do "this year instead of our normal checks for end of year bonus we in the board room decided to buy each and every one of our employees a pair of socks and pass the savings on to the stock holders". weak

Hope the upcoming Halloween event will be similar if not BETTER than the year before. This past weekend April fools sub is a huge FAILURE. Last year was just so much better. Huge let down of your player base out there WG. The person whom came up with this idea needs to be Terminated.

Does this answer your question?

Torpedoes don't have any friends. So they will kill everything in their path. To prevent team kills we should all watch out where we fire those fishes. That means each and everyone of us, DDs of the second line!

No my name does NOT refer to those things from Odysseus! They refer to those loud things attached to a fire truck. Not to beautiful girls singing on the Ocean.

It is free, and yet you still complain.  I would rather the WG designers create more ships than waste their time on gimmicks.  British battleships and aircraft carriers for one, and the release of the French and Italian ships.  Another line of USN battleships?  Yes please.  More premium ships like the USS Enterprise and Graf Zeppplin?  Yes please.  I am sure they have limited resources, and I don't want to see it squandered with limited short term gimmicks to make bored, inappreciable people like you "happy".

i love the games from wargaming , not real good , but enjoy playing none the less .

have no problems with the in-game events even if the sub was a tease  , they still did something more then i can say for other mmo games

it just kinda sucks they cant find a viable way to balance sub mechanics in game

Because Submarines would be one-trick-ponies. They would be good at one thing, and one thing only: Stealth. Everything else sucks. Speed sucks, armor is a joke, weapons are pathetic and don't even get started on the maneuverability. WoWs had a pure one-trick-pony once, the Kitakami. It could only fire Torpedoes, everything else was bad. She was removed. A ship very close to a one-trick-pony is Graf Spee, she has strong guns but not enough of them and good Survivability for a Cruiser. Everything else is below average. And damn the Spee can be frustrating believe me that.
