So I often need/want to zoom in faster than I can with the scroll wheel. There is the shift key that does just that. However, I don't quite have the keyboard dexterity to mash my rudder controls and the shift key at the same time, as is often required. I don't want to take by hand off the mouse, so I'm kind of stuck. But I had a thought. Is there a way I can attach the zoom function to the middle mouse button (or any other button for that matter)? That would be much easier, and if I want to follow my shells, I have the time to press z for cool visuals, I don't need that function on my mouse. I messed around in the settings, but didn't see anything.

The setting you're looking for is Artillery Camera.

Go to the Controls tab and scroll down to the Camera section. (see pic below)

Click the button you wish to change. The button will turn dark. (see pic below)

Click your middle mouse button (MMB) anywhere except the area marked in red. (see pic below)

Click Apply, then OK.

You should now be able to toggle zoom with either Left Shift or MMB.

Odd. Pic shows fine in preview but Forum view is distorted, so here's a link.

Thanks, it worked. I had missed the fact that that portion of the controls scrolled. Learned something new!
