Not sure if this tagging thing works, but lets try.

Regarding the patch itself - Is there any way WG could let players know ahead of time how big the patch/s itself is? I am on a VERY limited data plan, so if its a big patch, I need to know ahead of time so I can find an alternate source to download the patch from. I realize that this is probably not a common request, but...?

He might play remotely on a WiFi or mobile data Hotspot. Give him a break.

So I opened the launcher and it did a 870MB update.  Then it said I had an old version of the game and did a 1.7GB update.
Is this working as intended?  Seems a little odd to me.

Ognevoi does not appear to have the Defensive AA option as a small quibble re the notes. Other than that a fascinating upgrade for Russian DDs.

...and Gorozovoi has to be the fiercest looking DD in WoW.

Stuck on the data repacking at 4% for like 15- 20 minutes. I went and watched a youtube video of that length and the WoWarships progress marker hasnt moved.

Why didn't my Udaloi and captain retain the ship XP and captain skills?  I don't want to pay doubloons to move my Udaloi captain from the Tashkent back to his ship.  I have a different build for my Udaloi than the Tash and I also don't want to pay to retrain him.  Let alone the 250k ship HP I had on the Udaloi expecting to be able to buy the new tier 10.  I'm confused why this occurred, am I missing something?  Shouldn't my ships have retained what they had?  Is this just an oversight?  Help me understand please, thank you.

Since the Udaloi got moved to the new branch, all your XP is on the old Tashkent, so your grind to Khab is preserved. How all the moves were going to be made were detailed in the patch notes in the OP of this thread to which you reply. Your Udaloi should have a new 9 point captain, and the Tashkent should have your old captain fully retrained for that ship. Really, the build between those two ships shouldn't be all that different, so...either do the quick grind to retrain your Tashkent captain to the new Udaloi, or just roll with it and grind up the 9pt Udaloi captain you got for free.

Really disappointed that my favorite Russian destroyer is now Stock again.

All that time playing the Udaloi now has to be redone.

After the 6.2 update today with the universal launcher I have been unable to launch WOW, WOT launches NP I keep getting a critical error that I would love to cut and paste here but for some reason this app doesn't want me to because nothing pastes into the text box

so this is the message I got ...

Message:

[PFS] can't init pack info manager:

C:/games/World_of_Warships_NA/res _packages

System info:

OS Name: Windows Unknown

OS Version: 6.6

OS Architecture: x86_64

Global commitable memory (physical +pagefile): 2401484Kb/8720424Kb (28%)

The application must exit

So is this where I need to submit this or elsewhere for a fix?

That is exactly what I am doing right now - a MiFi pod provides my internet. Im really not joking that much when I say I am in the far north, I am literally an couple hour's drive to the bloody arctic circle. I pay 100/month for my cell phone and 2GB of data, 15GB after that costs me another 100$, after that it just goes up. Fortunately the data charges did go down quite a bit - used to be $0.05/MB, they've since cut that to 0.0005/MB.

Anybody else notice that Ognevoi doesn't have the defense aa fire consumable as an option instead of engine boost as promised? View the screenshots below.

Moving the flag does not the solve in the historical inaccuracy of the IJN flag.

The Japanese flag should be the red sun offset from center in the direction of the lanyard with 16 rays of the sun coming off of it ... NOT the white background with the red center.
