I'm not necessarily a noob, but this question is exceptionally noob:

If I heal my HP, will the effects of adrenaline rush decrease?

For example, I recently bought myself the T8 RN Edinburgh, and it has a massive heal. When I heal, will my reload cool downs increase again?

Otherwise I should refrain from using my heal...

Yes. Heal fixes (replenishes) HP so it works against AR.

With AR trained, a weapon's reload cycle is determined by the amount of HP at the moment the weapon is fired.

(Above stats not guaranteed accurate. I'm a supertester and test ships don't always register correctly)

Thanks for the answer guys, now I'll just avoid using heal when I'm in a smoke :3

Unless it seems imprudent, which depends on the circumstances, I avoid using heal until after I've fired a salvo. Especially in my Nikolai, which has a painful 36 second reload.
